10 Reasons Why You Should Incorporate Yoga Into Your Life

Approximately, 1 year ago I was injured at work. I was assisting the medics pull an unconscious guy out of the vehicle onto a gurney.  When we lifted him up on the count of 3, I felt a sharp pain in my lower back. The pain was so horrific, I was unable to step on my left foot without a shooting pain going to my lower back. I felt no relief for 3 months and was unable to work. The doctors gave me medications for pain relief, muscle relaxants and anti inflammatories.

None of the medications helped.  I was unable to sit or stand for more than 20 minutes. I went to see a chiropractor and physical therapist and still found no relief. I finally met with a chiropractor who believed in yoga as a form of treatment. After 6 sessions, I was able to return back to work with very little pain. I continue performing the yoga exercises that I was taught. Till this day, I have no reoccurring pain.
