My Overnight Oats

I love oats. They are so versatile; you can make anything with oats.

Here I have a delicious recipe for overnight soaked oats. I eat this before my work out every day. It keeps me full and satisfied and ready to hit the weights!

My Overnight Oats

Recipe

  • 1 half cup of steel cut oats (or rolled oats but I prefer to use steel cut since they have more texture to them)
  • 1 cup of almond milk ( I use original unsweetened)
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of maca powder
  • 1 tbs of chia seeds
  • 1 tsp of cacao nibs

*Optional:  drizzle raw honey to add some sweetness

Instructions

  • Pour the oats in a bowl or container
  • Add the cinnamon, maca, chia seeds and cacao nibs to the oats
  • Pour the cup of almond milk over the oats
  • Let sit in the refrigerator over night

The next day the oats have soaked up all the almond milk. Mix it up and enjoy!
