For almost 30 years I have had passion for healthy food and nutrition and living a holistic and balanced lifestyle. I am, according to my husband, a bit of a mad scientist in the kitchen in my experiments to create the yummiest and healthiest food possible!!
The challenge of an eating disorder during my late teens/early 20s lead me ultimately towards developing a positive relationship with nutritious food and finding a balance in terms of mind, body and spirit in order to heal.
My journey has included following my interest in holistic therapies and I have received training in aromatherapy (including massage), healing touch and counselling hypnotherapy which I feel has given me a well-rounded background in holistic health and wellness. When I lived in the UK, I trained as an esthetician and particularly loved the sessions we had on natural skincare using fruits, vegetables and natural oils and I have always found that simple and natural feels good to me.
I am now certified and registered with CAIN and very much look forward to helping others find their own path to health and balance! My focus is on a whole mind, body and spirit approach to wellness.
