Benefits of Lemons

Lemons have been around for thousands of years and with growth in free radicals, indigestion, and inflammation. Having lemons as an essential part of the diet is an added bonus. Packed with Vitamin C and immune fighting properties it is important to take a look at this vibrant and delicious fruit we know as the lemon.

Benefits of Lemons

Helps with Digestion

Lemon has the same structure as the stomach atoms, helping with an upset stomach and also helps with indigestion. It is a mild diuretic and you will find yourself in the bathroom more than usual.

Vitamin C           

Lemons are full of vitamin C, and are an antioxidant. Lemons also help with fighting free radicals, boost collagen, and helps the skin look and feel healthier through exfoliation.

Natural House Cleaner

  • Natural bleach: ¼ to ½ cup of Lemon to 1 gallon of water and let white clothes soak for 1-2 hours. Next step washes in cycle and ring clothes out and let dry in the sun.
  • Window cleaner: 6 cups water, ½ cup of white vinegar, ¼ cup lemon. Mix in bottle spray and wipe clean.
  • All-purpose cleaner: ½ cup white vinegar, juice of one lemon, 2 cups water Mix to combine. Pour in a spray bottle. Spray, wipe, clean.

Alkalizing

Lemons help alkalize your body: 1 cup of hot water in the morning with one lemon every morning before eating actually alkalizes the body.
