Herbs And Spices

Before embarking on this life changing health journey, I never really thought twice about incorporating herbs and spices into my diet and cooking. I think the thought was a bit scary because I wasn’t sure how to use them so I never did.

Now since gaining more knowledge about the benefits and variety of herbs and actually trying out new recipes and incorporating them, I have blown myself away, it opened up a whole other world of food and cooking for me.

My favourite is Cilantro/Coriander, I use it as an ingredient and a topping on many dishes I make, when I look back at how I used to cook and prepare food. Adding these key beneficial elements to any recipe has my taste buds dancing for joy, and now that I’ve accomplished using herbs and spices and gotten over my fear, I’m more excited than ever about trying new recipes and creating recipes exploring more herbs and trying new things.

I never realized that herbs and spices actually had health benefits, such as cleansing, helps prevent illness, natural internal deodorant…etc. along with adding amazing flavour to any meal. I just thought they were for decoration, I never thought much of them until now and I really enjoy learning about more and continuing to explore the possibilities.
