Turmeric… The Golden Spice

Turmeric is an old Indian spice that has rapidly captured the health & wellness industry.

This spice, is well known for numerous health benefits and makes it very easy to integrate into every meal of the day!

My favourite warm drink during the Winter months is a Turmeric Latte.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups of Almond Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon of Turmeric
  • 1 Teaspoon of Raw Honey
  • 1 Drop of Cinnamon Essential Oil
  • 1 Pinch of Fresh Ginger
  • 1 Pinch of Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Heat the Almond Milk in a pot on low heat
  • Add all the other ingredients and stir over low heat for 5 minutes
  • Remove from heat and strain the warm milk through a strainer
  • Froth some of the milk in a frother for a few minutes
  • Sprinkle with Turmeric

Voila!

Delicious and warm for the soul…
