About Shawn

Healthy eating and living have always been my passion.  After leaving a career in Human Resources, I decided to formalize my education in health and nutrition.  I am passionate about childhood health and ending the obesity crisis that we see today in children.  I believe that women are the key to changing the health of our society, as it is women who do the majority of the shopping, cooking and child raising.  With a grown child of my own, and a grandchild; I have the benefit of years of experience and wisdom that only comes with time.  Balance in all things is my motto.
