I’m obsessed with pumpkin pie, but unfortunately, I always have to wait until Thanksgiving and Christmas to enjoy it! Here is a delicious pumpkin “pie” protein smoothie recipe I hope you’ll enjoy any time of year!
Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
 - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
 - 1/4 cup rolled oats
 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds
 - 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
 - 1 tablespoon honey
 - 1 frozen or fresh banana
 - 1/2 scoop of protein powder (vanilla vegan powder is my favourite)
 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
 - 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
 - 
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
 
Instructions
- Mix Greek yogurt, chia seeds and rolled oats together in a bowl. Let sit for 10-20 minutes to soften.
 - In a food processor or blender, add in all the other dry ingredients, and then add the yogurt mixture from step one.
 - Blend everything together until smooth in texture.
