Chocolate & Almond Butter Baked Oats

This chocolate and almond butter baked oats is made in minutes, with the basic pantry staples. Easy for on the go breakfast to get in that morning kick, with its high protein and complex carbs. Every bite is a hit of flavour, that will add extra energy to your day.

Chocolate & Almond Butter Baked Oats

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbs maple syrup
  • 1 tbs almond butter
  • 1/4 tbsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tbs vanilla
  • Chocolate chips and sliced almonds (toppings)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F, and spray a 4 inch x 4 inch baking pan.
  • Mix all ingredients (accept toppings) in blender until mixture is well combined , around 5 to 10 seconds on high speed.
  • Pour mixture into baking pan and top with chocolate chips and almonds.
  • Bake for 20 minutes then leave to cool slightly, optional but adds a hit drizzle some almond butter over baked oats, and enjoy!
