Now, I previously mentioned I love green smoothies, I usually add my protein powder for an after work out drink or quick meal replacement for breakfast or even lunch. Sometimes green smoothies can be intimidating so here goes. This is very creamy and tastes like banana pudding. Definitely, kid approved!
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Spinach
- 1 Cup frozen strawberries
- 1 Cup plain kefir
- 1/2 Medium banana
- 2 Tbsp pomegranate powder
- 2 Tbsp flax seed
- 3 Tbsp hemp hearts
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 Scoop protein powder (optional)
Directions
- Add all ingredients in a blender along with 1 cup cold water and blend.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
