If you’re looking for a fantastic alternative to traditional whipped cream, here is a delicious recipe for you.
Non-Dairy & Vegan Coconut Milk Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- 1 can full fat coconut milk
- 1/4-1/2 cup sweetener of your choice (I use Maple syrup to taste. This is also totally optional and I have left it out as I love the coconut flavour)
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (I personally use 1 teaspoon because I love the flavour of vanilla)
Instructions
- Place the can of coconut milk in the fridge overnight
- Take out the can, open and spoon the mixture into a mixing bowl (it should be somewhat solid from being refrigerated)
- Add the sweetener of your choice
- Add the vanilla
- Whip the ingredients until it resembles whipped cream
- Enjoy and try not to eat it all in one sitting
