Vegetarian Holiday Stuffing

You will need

  • 1 Loaf of bread of your choice
  • Unsalted butter
  • 3/4 – 1 cup of vegetable broth
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 Large Celery Stalk Diced
  • 1-2 cups Chopped Crimini Mushrooms
  • 1 Tsp of each sage, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, celery salt, pepper
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Cut loaf of bread into cubes and set aside
  • Sautée celery in butter for a minute before adding onion, cook until tender
  • Add mushrooms, and all herbs and mix
  • Add bread and salt to taste, mix together well
  • Pour in vegetable broth and stir until evenly coated making sure there is no dry bread
