This juice is so simple but is my all-time favourite. It really feels like drinking a cup of sunshine!
Do note that fresh juices keep fresh for about 3 days – to enjoy this juice later, you can store your fresh juice in the fridge, tightly sealed, then blend when you’re ready to enjoy!
*This recipe requires a juicer & blender
Sunshine Juice
Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 2 oranges
- Knob of ginger root (approx. thumb sized)
- ¾ cup frozen strawberries
Optional Additions:
- 1 carrot
- 2-3 kale leaves
- Handful of spinach
- ¼ fresh beet
Instructions
- Wash all fruits and vegetables
- Quarter your apples and remove the stems
- Quarter your oranges and remove the peel
- Juice all fresh fruits and veggies, starting with ginger (if adding greens or beet, I like to do these at the beginning as well, so all the colour & density is juiced out with the more water-dense fruits)
- Blend your fresh juice with frozen strawberries
