The Ultimate Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients 

For smoothie

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 handful frozen berries
  • 1 tsp Maca root powder (ex. Eco Ideas)
  • 1 tsp Ashwaganda root powder (ex. Organic Traditions)
  • 1 scoop plant based protein powder (ex. Vegi Day)
  • 1/4 cup beet juice (ex. Biotta)
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • Ingredients for toppings
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds 10 almonds (approx.)
  • 1/8 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/8 cup cacao nibs Tips

Options

  • Blend smoothie, place in bowl and add toppings – super simple*
  • Other ingredients to include in smoothie portion: turmeric powder, frozen mango, coconut, cinnamon, acai powder, matcha powder, chocolate protein
  • Other ingredients to include for toppings: muesli, crushed rice cakes, hemp seeds pumpkin seeds, goji berries, cereal Super Breakfast This recipe provides carbohydrates, fats and protein.

It is well balanced and will provide you with energy and sustenance to last for a few hours. I eat this or a version of this quite literally every morning. It always wakes me up and gives me a boost to start the day. These super awesome ingredients are: detoxifying, antioxidant, naturally energizing, hormone balancing, include omegas which are necessary for brain health, adaptogenic, and contain PLENTY of vitamins and minerals.
