Your New Favourite Superfood Smoothie

As a new mom, I don’t always prioritize the time to properly nourish myself. Coffee isn’t a food group, is it? With this smoothie, I can trust that I am getting a ton of nutrients in one place to help me get through the day. Hello, healthy fats, protein, & antioxidants! The colour of this creation may not be the prettiest but I promise you it is delicious! As a bonus, my little guy absolutely loves it too!

Your New Favourite Superfood Smoothie

Ingredients

  • a handful of baby spinach
  • shake of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp spirulina
  • 1/2 small avocado
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1-2 tbsp hemp protein powder
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup chia pudding (I pre-make this for the week with 1 can of light coconut milk & 1/2 cup chia seeds)
  • fill to cover with water

Instructions

Blend all together & enjoy!
