Switch Your Table Salt for Himalayan Salt

January 28, 2021

Himalayan salt is really a treasure, it contains the same 84 trace minerals and elements that are found in the human body, a few of which include sodium, chloride, sulphate, calcium, potassium, magnesium…

So when you eat it, you are actually getting less sodium intake.

Below are some of the benefits you can expect to enjoy by consuming this treasure in place of regular table salt.

  • aids in vascular health
  • support healthy lungs and respiratory function
  • promotes a stable pH balance
  • reduces signs of ageing
  • prevent muscle cramps
  • lower blood pressure
  • improves circulation
  • detoxifies the body of heavy metals…

Table salt is really badly processed and let’s face it, unfortunately, our oceans are becoming more and more polluted each year. So because of the pristine condition that Himalayan salt has been kept in, it is said to be the purest salt available today.

Here are a few other ideas to use Himalayan Salt.

  • Cooking
  • Salt slabs: it will give a better taste and mineral content
  • Bathing: minerals will stimulate your circulation and soothe your muscle
  • Air purification:  by using crystal rock lamps (easy to find at your local health food store)

Don’t forget if you eat prepared meals, processed foods are already salty so don’t use too much salt anyway!
