There’s a lot of buzz about collagen in the health world – and for good reason! Collagen is the most abundant protein found in our body so it’s pretty important. Besides being a source of protein, according to the brand “Vital Proteins,” it also supports “the vitality of your skin & hair, as well as bones & joints.” Mixed with matcha green tea, “an antioxidant powerhouse,” you’ve got a beautifying pick me up that you can feel good about. I’m sold.
Vital Proteins has made it super easy to integrate this amazing protein and antioxidant rich green tea into our diets. Their “Matcha Collagen” powder is next level so I whip up this tasty (& healthy) matcha latte everyday to give me an energy boost, glowing skin, and strong nails. Plus it tastes good so… win/win.
Beautifying Matcha Latte
Here’s the recipe
- 1 scoop of Vital Proteins “Matcha Collagen” powder (I use the “Original Matcha” flavor)
- Stevia leaf extract powder or drops (amount based on the level of sweetness you want)
- A dash (or 3) of Super Food Seasoning “Cinnamon Kiss” powder (can substitute this with cinnamon)
- 1/2 – 1 cup of nut milk (I use the Three Trees “Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk”)
Directions
Mix your matcha collagen powder, stevia (if you’re using powder form), and cinnamon together in a mug. If you have a matcha whisk and bowl – use that! If not, slowly pour & stir hot water into your powder, ensuring there are no clumps. Add your nut milk & enjoy!
