Hi, my name is Kristin! My love of food began with my mother and grandmother’s home cooking. Between the two of them, I grew up eating a variety of foods from Persian dolmas to chicken-fried steak with milk gravy. This love of food carried over into my academics studies in school. In 2006, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from The University of Texas at Austin. Fast forward to today and I’m a busy mom of two, keenly aware of all the junk food that is available to my children and doing my best to share my knowledge of nutrition with others.
