Building on a decades-long interest in physical, emotional and mental wellness, my goal in becoming a Health Coach is to share this passion, encouraging and inspiring others to well-rounded fitness. This is more than numbers on a scale or measurements on a tape measure. This is a level of functional ability to live life to the fullest, whatever that may mean for the individual, and to enjoy every minute of it! It’s a balance of energy, strength, health and happiness that will be different for each person and may change as life does. Although I’m still training to become a Health Coach, my objective is to guide my clients to this balance.
I am particularly interested in women’s health and wellness, especially through the changes that happen as we age, as well as in plant-based and vegetarian nutrition.
My background includes a degree in psychology and management, many years as a group fitness instructor and a career of leadership and mentorship. Combining this with my current health and nutrition learning, I bring a philosophy of encouragement, engagement and accountability to my coaching clients.
