I am currently enrolled the Holistic Nutritionist course and should be done my studies in the summer of 2022.
I always knew I wanted to help people but didn’t really know how or in what areas. As I got older I started to take more notice in how I felt after eating certain foods. I started to become aware of how food was affecting my mood, my body, and even my mind. I became a vegetarian almost two years and noticed a huge shift in my psychical body and also my mental state. My body became leaner and my mind became more clear.
I truly believe food is medicine. It can change the way you see the world. We need to respect ourselves enough to believe that we deserve to eat good, nutritious food. Not only do I think food is medicine for optimal body health but it is also a great tool to help cope with mental illness. My focus is to mend people’s relationship with food, help them to understand that food can guide them to better life; psychically and mentally.
