Easy tofu mushroom sauce! I like to serve this over noodles, potatoes or even rice.
Creamy Tofu Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 block silken tofu (I like to use silken tofu because of its creamy texture)
- 2 cloves garlic (more or less garlic depending on your love of garlic!)
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
- Blend all above ingredients in a blender
- Sautée your favourite mushrooms until they are cooked
- Spoon in desired amount of tofu base
- Mix together and heat through
- Serve with noodles, rice, potatoes and it even goes great on top of zucchini noodles!
