3 To-Go Breakfast Ideas!
If you’re like me, breakfast needs to be fast, easy and portable. Mornings are my busy time. I get ready, pack my gym bag, work out and go to work. I need to be able to make something in 5 mins, or grab it and go!
3 Ideas below:
Smoothies. Smoothies are probably the easiest breakfast I make in the morning. I chuck in a banana or Protein powder and spinach and it’s done!
The second breakfast I LOVE is overnight oats. You can make them in mason jars or just regular food containers like I do. I usually put in 1/2-1 cup oats, blueberries or any other fruit and cinnamon. Sometimes I leave it dry and pour soy milk over it in the morning to soak. Sometimes I let it soak overnight. I use quick whole oats. You can also leave it dry and when you arrive at work pour hot water in to have hot oatmeal!
The third is burritos. I make a batch of breakfast burritos, wrap them up and freeze them! I find they freeze really well. I can either heat them up at home or at work. I use whole wheat tortillas and stuff them with potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, cilantro and sometimes tofu. I bring a small container of salsa on the side with me.
