5 Ways To Nurture Your Body Daily
- Upon wake up every morning, atleast 30 minutes before breakfast, drink fresh squeezed lemon in very warm water. This will re-hydrate your body, flush your digestive system all while giving you a natural vitamin C boost to start your day.
- MOVE – there is enough hours in a day that you should be able to move your body in some form or another for 30-60 minutes. A walk, a hike , yoga or swimming – all beautiful ways to get out and get your blood flowing.
- STAY HYDRATED – you can never feel your best without proper water intake. I like to fill a 2.5 litre BPA free water bottle and drink it and then some daily. This gives me a visual on my water consumption and it’s easy to grab and go!
- VARIETY – to avoid cravings, overindulgence and the late afternoon crash. Make your meals and snacks full of variety , fresh organic foods and properly balanced portions.
- RELAX – enjoy a relaxing/balancing tea like Tulsi. This will prevent you from grabbing more food, it will help calm you for a deep sleep all while hydrating you before overnight fasting. *Tulsi (Holy Basil) tea is also supportive for hypothyroidism and hormone imbalance.*
