Probably everybody tries eating salad for weight loss. Salad is a great way to have a variety of nutrients at one time, and they are easy to make too!
However, it can also be boring if you are only eating green salad all the time.
To make it more enjoyable, many people go for a salad that has A LOT of dressing such as caesar dressing, thousand island dressing, chipotle dressing……..
I am not saying that you can’t use those dressings but if you are choosing to eat salad for weight loss or to be healthy, you might want to think about how much of those sugar and fat rich dressings are on you salad.
You might be thinking “I eat a lot of vegetables so I’m healthy!” “I am eating salad instead of junk food but my weight doesn’t change at all…”. Well, if you are pouring on too much of those dressings, you end up consuming just as many calories at the end of the day.
I am not saying that you have to only use lemon juice or wine vinegar all the time.
A fruit like avocado can be the dressing!
Instead of putting avocado in your salad AND add dressing, why don’t you use avocado as dressing?
Salad doesn’t have to be boring. You can be creative and enjoy your salad while eating healthy:)
Avocado Dressing
Serving Size: –
Ingredients
- 2 Avocado
- 1 Garlic Clove
- Pinch of Sal & Black Pepper
- 1 cup Cashew Milk
- Juice of Half Lemon
- 1/4 cup Green Onion
- 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
How to
- Put all the ingredients in a blender
- Mix them well
