Beet Juice

Beet juice recipe

I love fresh juices. Your body absorbs all the vitamins and minerals for a quick boost and you feel revitalized.

My favorite is beet juice!

Beets are full of nutrients and are perfect when your body needs to detox. Beets have an earthy taste to them so I like to add some other vegetables and fruits to add sweetness. This recipe makes one 16 ounce serving.

Ingredients:

  • 4 beets
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 apple

Instructions:

1. Peel and chop the beets and carrots

2. Process the beets and carrots and apple in a juicer

TIP:

If you do not own a juicer, place all ingredients in a blender and process until liquefied. Pour the liquid through a cheese cloth or towel over a bowl. Grab all the corners of the cloth or towel together in your hand. Twist and squeeze until all the juice comes out and you are left with dry pulp. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

You can always add more vegetables or fruits as you like such as strawberries for added tartness and sweetness or ginger for a punch of flavor and for an extra detox for your liver. No matter what ingredients you incorporate it will always taste delicious with tons of nutrients.

Drink up!
