Berry Cereal? My go to breakfast!

I’m on the go Monday to Friday like most people. I hit the gym at 6am and then start my commute to work. I need a breakfast that I can easily assemble when I get to work that tastes delicious, is nutrient packed and to be honest … doesn’t take a lot of time to prepare in the morning.

That’s why i LOVE berry cereal.

Its two of the easiest ingredients. Frozen (or fresh) berries topped with a plant based protein shake. It fills me up for 3-4 hours and tastes delicious. I don’t consume this every day as I do like to alternate what I eat as to not get bored. I do believe that plant based protein powders can supply our bodies with the right amount of nutrients and protein as long as you are looking at the ingredients and making informed choices on the brand you are using.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 cups of frozen (or fresh) berries packed into a container (some days i include dried goji berries or dates)
  • A shaker or water bottle mixed with 1 cup plant milk (or water) with 1 scoop plant based protein powder

More or less liquid will make it less thick or more thick depending on what you like.

Pour the protein mix over the berries and enjoy!
