Hey Guys,

So if you are anything like me or most people in the world, you probably LOVE pizza. But one thing we all don’t love is the extra calories we get from it. Here is my recipe for a lower carb and lower calorie version of pizza. It’s guilt free and doesn’t leave you feeling as bad as you would if you ate a whole regular crust pizza.

You will need

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 egg
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Spices of your choice (I used cayenne pepper and Himalayan salt)
  • Parchment paper
  • Pizza Toppings (for this you can use anything your little heart desires)

Step by step Instructions

  • Take your head of cauliflower and cut it into smaller sections. If you have a food processor you can through it in there and pulse until its a fine mulch, I sometimes use a cheese grater.
  • Put all the cauliflower into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 4-6 minutes (Now is also a good time to preheat your oven to 350 degrees)
  • Once its done in the microwave let it sit and cool for a few minutes then pat it dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture
  • Add in your egg, choice of spices and 1/4 cup of shredded cheese. Mix
  • Lay out a piece of parchment paper on a cooking sheet and pour your mixture onto the sheet. You’ll want to form a pizza shape by patting the mixture down to form a nice even surface.
  • Throw it in the oven and bake for 15- 20 mins (until the edges are golden brown)
  • Once the edges are golden brown your crust is ready. You can add whatever sauce and toppings you like.
  • Put the pizza back in the oven for a few minutes – I usually give it 5-10 minutes for the cheese to melt
