One of my favourite treats, I usually freeze the ice cream in bite size using chocolate molds, this way you can create all different flavors and present an interesting appetizing plate of happiness.
Chilli Chocolate & Nutty Vanilla Ice Cream Delight
Ingredients
- 400 ml Coconut cream (1 Tin)
- 2 Bananas (roughly chopped and freeze)
- 50 ml Raw Honey
- 1 Vanilla pod (split and scrap out the seeds)
- 30 ml Raw Cocoa powder
- 1 Red Chilli
- 10 Raw Almonds (crushed or sliced into small pieces)
Directions
- Combine the coconut cream, frozen banana pieces in the food processor or blender, and mix thoroughly until a smooth consistency
- Add the honey and the vanilla seeds and give the mixture a few pulses
- Split the mixture in half, the one halve you can add the crushed almonds to and put the mix into your molds or into an ice cream maker to freeze the other halve: add the Raw cocoa powder to the ice cream mix and mix thoroughly
- Last but not least add some of the finely sliced chilli to the mix (to taste be careful not to add too much), now pour the chocolate mixture into your molds or ice cream maker and freeze.
