Cilantro: The Heavy Metal Detoxifier
Cilantro, whether you like it or hate it this herb is packed with incredible health benefits. As for me, I am one of those people who can’t stand the taste of cilantro. But because this herb is so phenomenal, I incorporate this herb in my diet.
Cilantro is a good source of dietary fiber, packed with vitamins A, K and C, and minerals such as iron, magnesium and calcium. Cilantro also has more antioxidants than most fruits and vegetables!
I incorporate cilantro every day in my smoothie because it is an extraordinary heavy metal detoxifier. In this day and age we are constantly in contact with pollution, food contaminants and we consume fish that is heavily toxic with mercury. Heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, aluminum, lead, and mercury resides in our tissues, therefore leading to many health problems that we have today such as heart disease, hormonal imbalances, neurological conditions, and infertility just to name a few.
Heavy metals are stored in the adipose tissues. Cilantro removes and mobilizes the metals rapidly from the brain and central nervous system by separating it from the fat tissue and moving it into the blood and lymph where they can be removed safely and effectively from the body.
I like to add Hawaiian Spirulina with cilantro into my morning smoothie because they work miraculously together in ridding the body with mercury poisoning and toxicity.
This herb is so beneficial for our health and can help heal many diseases so whether you’re one of those people like me who hate the taste of cilantro it’s best to suck it up and add it to your morning smoothie or salad at lunch because your body with thank you!
