We all know about Elvis Presley’s favorite peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich AND we all know it isn’t the healthiest treat out there BUT I got something you sure will enjoy without packing on those extra pounds from one sitting! Thumbs up!
We all crave something sweet now and then especially me and it’s hard to fight those cravings but this ‘dessert’ smoothie will sure hit the spot. If Elvis was still alive, I’m sure he’d enjoy this delicious healthy treat with all his favorite flavors. It’s sweet and salty and you won’t even miss the bacon! YUM!
This peanut butter and banana smoothie is made with very simple ingredients.
Elvis’s Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1 cup of original unsweetened almond milk (or any other nut milks you have on hand)
- 3-4 dates (depends how sweet you want it)
- 2 tbsp of natural peanut butter (chunky or smooth)
- a pinch of sea salt to get that salty aspect
- a dash of cinnamon
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients in a blender until silky and smooth and drink up!
For added decadence, try roasting some peanuts with sea salt. Crush them slightly and sprinkle on top and voila!
Once you try this smoothie you “Can’t help falling in love” with it 😉
