Oats pancakes is my favourite breakfast for the weekends. They are great for when you want to eat something fun but still nutritious. Plus, you can do little tweaks to make them different every time.
Favourite Sunday Breakfast
Here is the basic recipe
- 1/3 cup of oats
- 1/4 cup of vegetal milk
- 4 egg whites
- Cinnamon
- Stevia
Directions
- Mix the ingredients in a food processor or a blender, make the pancakes on a lightly oiled hot skillet.
- I like to accompany the pancakes with 1 tbsp of natural nut butter and some berries. You can also add 1 tbsp maple syrup and some chia seeds.
Variations
- To make them fluffier you can substitute the oats by coconut flour
- You can add extra Omega 3 by adding 1 tbsp of chia seeds or grounded flaxseed
- You change the flavor by adding 1 tbps of cacao powder, half a banana or a handful of blueberries to the mix
- Make them low carb by substituting the oats with sweet potato.
