Ginger Lemon Shots!

February 20, 2017

It’s that time of year again. Cold and flu season. While I will usually buy ginger shots from my local health food store I recently obtained a juicer and have been doing them myself!

Ginger is known for its antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is packed with vitamin C.

I try to have 1 ginger shot a week.  Sometimes more (once every few days) if one of my co-workers is ill. I’ll even have once once daily if I’m fighting off a cold!

Ingredients:

1/2-1 inch of ginger

1/4-1/2 lemon

Instructions:

Place the ginger in a juicer and juice.

Place lemon in juicer next.  It will help clean out the ginger from your juicer better because it has more water content.

Pour into a cup and drink.

That’s it!
