I can’t believe it took me so long to discover ways to up my creativity when it comes to plain Greek Yogurt. I’m always finding ways to add protein into my diet, and Greek Yogurt is the perfect non-animal protein. What took me so long? The taste and difficulty of eating it plain! Over the last little while, I’ve discovered the many ways of using Greek Yogurt as part of a snack or substitute for ingredients in meals. Below you’ll find two simple recipes that I use consistently when meal prepping.
Greek Yogurt Recipes
Greek Yogurt and Berries
- Greek Yogurt
- Frozen berries
- Granola (optional)
Put 3/4 cup of Greek Yogurt in a bowl (or mason jars if meal prepping).
Top with 1/2 cup of frozen berries. Place back in the fridge and enjoy when berries are thawed.
Add a little granola for some crunch.
Herbed Dip
- 3/4 cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp dried dill
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
Combine all ingredients. Enjoy as a dip with pitas, crackers and veggies. This dip is versatile so enjoy with your own favourite herbs!
