With the holidays coming and going, feeling like a stuffed turkey you just finished devouring, eating all those Christmas cookies, it’s time to give your body a break.
I love starting the morning off with a smoothie packed with nutrients and antioxidants. This powerhouse smoothie is so simple to make.
Here’s how to make it:
- 1 cup of kale
- 1 cup of mixed berries
- 1 tsp of Hawaiian spirulina
- 1 cup of coconut milk ( 1 can of coconut cream blended with 3 cups of water)
Mix all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Drink up!
This recipe is so versatile. You can use any dark leafy greens. Mix your own fruits whether you prefer pineapple or mango. Put some of your own add ins. Anything goes.
In the end this smoothie is full of vitamins and minerals that your body craves. It’s delicious and nutritious your body will thank you!
