Hello my friends!
Well, April was a very busy month for me. We moved to another country a few weeks ago, new house, new friends and I packed and unpacked the whole house like 4 times!! Pffff!
In this kind of situation it is very easy to let your guard down because it’s easier to buy some prepared food and just warm it.
So, I’d like to share with you today some tips that will help you if you find yourself in a similar situation.
Travelling or moving is not an excuse to stop eating healthy!
Tips
- Keep it simple! You don’t need to prepare exotic foods everyday, just keep it as simple as possible. Broiled eggs with fresh vegetables is my favorite simple one. I broil many eggs and keep them in the refrigerator so they are ready to take anytime.
- Always have some nuts, almonds, cashews or seeds in your pocket. Great and healthy snack!
- Dried fruits work great with kids instead of cookies or candies.
- If you need to eat outside, look for a veggie option, there are many vegetarian restaurants anywhere and they have always a good fresh salad in the menu.
- If you still prefer to take your own food with you, it’s best to store it in BPA-free plastic containers that can pack tightly into the space you have available and keep the food fresh.
- Don’t forget to hydrate yourself. We can forget to eat because of the rash, but never forget to drink enough water if you really want to complete your daily schedule. Carry your bottle with you!
- Last but for me the most important: Enjoy the process and Keep Calm.
Hasta la vista! 😉
