I am obsessed with avocados these days. They are so healthy and full of nutrients.
That is why I decided to combine the two and make an avocado milkshake.
An average avocado has about 30g of healthy fat, 12g of carbohydrates and about 4-5g of protein. They are a good source of B vitamins except from B12. They have a good amount of vitamin A and some vitamin C and a bit of vitamin E. Avocados are rich in potassium and are also particularly good in many other minerals including magnesium, iron and manganese.
There is also a bunch of phytonutrients in avocado that is beneficial to health.
So who is ready for the healthy avocado milkshake? Here is my recipe.
Avocado Milkshake
Ingredients
- 1 Average avocado
- 1/2 Banana
- 1 Small vanilla yoghurt
- 5 Ice cubes
Directions
- Put it all in a blender and blend it until smooth.
Sit down, relax and enjoy your milkshake!
