Healthy Vegan Oat Cookies

A balanced life includes the pleasures of preparing a dessert that provides us with the necessary nutrients to keep us energetic, energetic and above all healthy. Then I decided to make a recipe that is super easy and practical, that you can take wherever you want or as a dessert at home.

The ingredients I use are organic, which means that the product has certified as pesticides, herbicides or toxic agents free. All these components have an impact on our health unfavourably.

To make cookies Vegan Oats you need the following ingredients with their respective benefits and powerful combination:

Oatmeal in Flakes, a potent source of fibre, is a carbohydrate with very high amounts of magnesium, copper, iron, zinc and vitamin B1, as well as small doses of calcium, folic acid and other vitamins of group B. In addition, it is very rich in manganese. And all this in a very condensed way: in small quantities and without contributing too many calories.

Almond Butter provides a high number of monounsaturated fatty acids, which are considered healthier than saturated fatty acids. They are a source of vitamin E and magnesium, as well as fibre. They contain unsaturated fats, proteins, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and iron.

Banana contains a protein that our body converts to serotonin to help us relax and de-stress. More reason for you to incorporate it into your diet! Vitamin C, which contains bananas, helps strengthen the immune system and helps the absorption of other nutrients such as iron. While vitamin B-6 is also present in this fruit, it helps the body create new cells. A banana contains the 35% of vitamin B-6 required daily.

Maca powder a root that regulates and increases the function of the endocrine system, the glands that produce the hormones necessary for essential bodily and metabolic functions such as fertility, function sexual, digestion, brain and nervous system physiology, and energy levels. Hormones regulate many things, including mood, growth, sexual development and tissue function. Hormones also play a role in many diseases, such as cancer and depression.

Healthy Vegan Oat Cookies

Ingredients

  • ½  cup of oats in flakes
  • ¼ cup of almond butter
  • 1 banana
  • 1 spoonful of maca powder
  • coconut oil spray for utensils

Instructions

  • Place the banana and crush it with a fork.
  • Add the almond butter and mix until combined between banana and Almond butter
  • Add the oatmeal and finally the maca powder.
  • Prepare a tray with a silicone tablecloth or waxed paper, you can spray with coconut oil, to not stick to the tray.
  • Place the portions with a spoon, you can also make them with your hands.
  • Take the cookies to the oven for 15 min at 180 degrees Celsius / 356 Fahrenheit.
  • You can add dark chocolate chips or make a topping of your preference.

You can get 8-10 cookies, depending on the size you want.
