Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

I’m obsessed with pumpkin pie, but unfortunately, I always have to wait until Thanksgiving and Christmas to enjoy it! Here is a delicious pumpkin “pie” protein smoothie recipe I hope you’ll enjoy any time of year!

Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 frozen or fresh banana
  • 1/2 scoop of protein powder (vanilla vegan powder is my favourite)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  • Mix Greek yogurt, chia seeds and rolled oats together in a bowl. Let sit for 10-20 minutes to soften.
  • In a food processor or blender, add in all the other dry ingredients, and then add the yogurt mixture from step one.
  • Blend everything together until smooth in texture.
