Recipe: Quinoa bowl
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of Quinoa
- One can of black beans
- 1/3 chopped Mushrooms
- 1/3 chopped Bell Peppers
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Tbsp of sriracha
Preparation
Quinoa
- Rinse quinoa for a couple of minutes
- In a saucepan add one cup of water to the 1/2 a cup of quinoa
- Bring to a boil
- Then turn the heat down, cover the saucepan and wait 15 minutes
- It will absorb all the water left
- After that remove from heat and let it stand for a few minutes.
We have veggies to prepare!
Veggies
- In a frying pan heat a little coconut oil and add all your veggies and beans
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- If you like your quinoa bowl with a kick you can add sriracha, but it’s up to you
- Cook for 3-5 minutes
- When your veggies are done go ahead and add the quinoa
- Mix everything up and that’s it!
Quinoa is the best! You can prepare it with almost everything. Make it your own!
