Recipe: Quinoa bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Quinoa
  • One can of black beans
  • 1/3 chopped Mushrooms
  • 1/3 chopped Bell Peppers
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Tbsp of sriracha

Preparation

Quinoa

  • Rinse quinoa for a couple of minutes
  • In a saucepan add one cup of water to the 1/2 a cup of quinoa
  • Bring to a boil
  • Then turn the heat down, cover the saucepan and wait 15 minutes
  • It will absorb all the water left
  • After that remove from heat and let it stand for a few minutes.

We have veggies to prepare! 

Veggies

  • In a frying pan heat a little coconut oil and add all your veggies and beans
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
  • If you like your quinoa bowl with a kick you can add sriracha, but it’s up to you
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes
  • When your veggies are done go ahead and add the quinoa
  • Mix everything up and that’s it!

Quinoa is the best! You can prepare it with almost everything. Make it your own!
