We all have those days where we get up and have 5 minutes to get dressed, get your breakfast ready, and hit the road.
There are also days where you get up and you have all the time in the world to make your breakfast and relax. Below is a great recipe that I have been enjoying for the past year.
Some health benefits of the ingredients in the recipe below are as follows:
Powerful antioxidant, aids weight loss, promotes cardiovascular function/health, lower blood pressure and improves body circulation, provides fiber and protein, contains many vitamins, iron and other minerals, high in omega 3 fatty acids, boost immune system, helps to strengthen muscles, skin and organs and boosts energy. Not only is it simple to make it tastes GREAT!
Super Food Breakfast Recipe:
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of oatmeal
- 1tbsp of goji berries
- 1tbsp of cacao powder
- 1tbsp of almond butter
- 1/4 cup of blueberries
- 1tbsp of Flaxseed (other options are, chia seeds or coconut oil)
- 2tbsp of plain greek yogurt
- Dash of cinnamon
- 1 cup of Almond Milk or you can use water
Instructions:
Two ways of making this breakfast. You can either place all the ingredients in the blender and make a shake. When I know I’m going to be short on time in the morning, I make my shakes the night before.
Or you can make the oatmeal and put all the ingredients on top and mix it all up.
