Tropical Green Smoothie

July 20, 2018

This smoothie recipe has been a staple in my diet for many years and for good reason. It’s nutritious, delicious and so easy to make. While I usually enjoy it as breakfast, it also makes a great snack or even dessert. Yes, it’s that good, just ask my toddler.

This “meal in a glass” is full of healthy fats, protein, a small amount of carbs and a wide array of vitamins and minerals. The addition of coconut water means it contains all 6 classes of nutrients.

The recipe serves two, so if you are looking to make this for just yourself, simply cut the ingredients in half or freeze leftovers into popsicle molds.
