After eating bad all week I have decided to start juicing again. I have decided to give myself a 21 day challenge drinking only juices because I need to clear my body of all the toxins. It’s an incredible way to detox and reduce inflammation by giving your digestive system a break.
Juices don’t need any digestion at all because all the vitamins and minerals go straight to your bloodstream. During this 21 day juice detox I have to say my favourite juice would be the carrot juice!
Here is the recipe I will share with you!
Vitamin C Juice
Ingredients
- 6-8 carrots
- 4 oranges
- Half an inch of ginger
- Tsp of turmeric powder
Instructions
- Squeeze the juice from the oranges
- Strain out the pulp
- Place the carrots and ginger through a juicer
- Pour the carrot mixture in the orange juice
- Add the turmeric powder and mix with a whisk
This recipe should make 16 ounces. This juice is so sweet and refreshing. Not only will your body be happy but your taste buds would be screaming with joy!
