I’m super excited to share this recipe with you as this is my favorite quick tofu recipe. Before I start I want to mention that it’s important to get organic tofu as most soy products in North America are genetically modified and you’d like to keep your foods as free of GMOs as possible.
Yummy Tofu Recipe
Ingredients
- Extra Firm organic tofu
- Avocado oil
- Himalayan salt
- Nutritional yeast flakes
- Dill
Instructions
- Heat your frying pan with some avocado oil
- Cut your tofu into large steak slices and lay them out on a board
- Sprinkle salt on all the slices
- Sprinkle nutritional yeast flakes on all the slices and then gently tap the yeast flakes into the tofu so they moisten and stick
- Sprinkle dill on all the slices
- Flip the slices and repeat steps 4 and 5 *Optional*
- Fry on one side or both sides on low-medium heat until golden.
- Serve warm or cold with salads, grains, crackers or by themselves.
