As a yoga instructor I teach people to connect their breath to their body. I am constantly reminding my students to breath into the posture. To slow down and notice the sensations they feel in their body. What happens when we turn inward and realize that our bodies feel like crap? That our guts are all twisted, our body feels heavy and we are constantly going through highs and lows. Through studying my own life I have come to realize that most conditions in the body are linked to lifestyle and nutrition. In our fast paced society of trying to achieve it all we often take for granted our health and with the little time we leave for ourselves the first thing we sacrifice is what we put in our bodies. Fast food becomes the solution for quick dinners and quick snacks to get us to our next appointment on time. We all know we should eat better but honestly most of us don’t have the slightest clue on how to incorporate this lifestyle into our daily lives. Teaching people to take care of themselves by simplifying the nutritional information so they can achieve their lifestyle goals and simply start healing from the inside out is my main objective of becoming a health coach in holistic nutrition.
