Kayla Lalumiere

Currently enrolled in CHNC program Cambridge

I have been in the medical field for 20+ yrs. I am very experienced in different aspects of the Medical Field. I currently work with a Endocrinologist and I have completed and currently working on multiple clinical research trials as a licensed Clinical Research Coordinator.

I am also working on becoming a Holistic Nutritionist in hopes to help people achieve their health goals and live life to the fullest.

For years I suffered from terrible symptoms that no one could figure out, extreme fatigue, weight gain, extreme abdominal swelling (looked like I was 8 months pregnant), migraines, hives, swelling of the chest, shortness of breath & brain fog. I had been to numerous doctors and no one could figure it out. After having a horrible allergic reaction while away on holiday I was finally sent to a allergist who diagnosed with a Sulphite Intolerance.

There was not a lot of information available for me about this intolerance (when I was diagnosed) but I was determined at that point to learn everything I could about this. I had to learn how to re-eat, right back down to the basic foods, I learned how to grow my own herbs, vegetables and how to dehydrate everything so that I had spices to use and vegetables to eat. I was able to take a course in Sulphite Counselling that allows me to teach people about this intolerance.

It definitely has been a life changer for me. I am now in control of my Sulphite intolerance and have not had to use a epi pen for 3 years (although I still carry one, just in case).

I look forward to helping you on your nutritional journey to a healthier you!
