My name is Khalid Sallouha, I have a been a full time personal trainer in the Ottawa area for the past 7+ years. I was always active person, however when I started working I quickly realized just showing up to the gym after sitting at work for hours on end without a plan wasn’t cutting it anymore. I felt like I was doing more and more at the gym, but was regressing. I decided that this wasn’t how I wanted to live my life, and started getting serious about my fitness and health. I got my first personal training certification, and soon after many more. I eventually branched out to a more holistic approach, realizing not one part functions independently, but instead everything works together as a whole.
To make sure I am able to evolve as a trainer for my clients, and myself, I reflect on my shortcomings in respect to my personal training, and find a course or seminar that helps me address those shortcomings head on.
