I struggled with many health ailments for most of my adult life until I discovered the power of natural food, a positive mind frame and a healthy lifestyle. I’ve made it my focus to change the way people approaches healthy living and have set out to help people transform their lives by empowering them with the tools to make choices that guide them toward their own goals.
I was once one of those people who had the 2pm crash, felt isolated by my illness, depressed, lost and feeling completely trapped in my own body. I was diagnosed with IBS in my early 20’s, and later on with Ulcerative Colitis and depression. It took me a long time to open my eyes and make a shift to change. I turned to nutrition and exercise to control my symptoms and give me a better quality of life.
A way to look at things long term and see the value in putting my health first. For the first time in a long time I had energy. I wanted to get out and do things, I focused on eating whole foods, because I knew how good it made me feel.
For the first time in my life I felt like I had control over my future. Shifting my thought patterns and habits combined with eating a diet focused on a whole food, plant based diet changed my outlook forever.
