My path towards a holistic approach for myself was a long-overdue switch when I was in high school I was under a lot of stress with not only school but my home life and my body was not doing well.
Every day I had headaches which lead into migraines and I was adviced by my doctor to just take Advil so for the next 4 years almost every day that’s what I did-not the best decision on my part I know. After high school, I got a moment of clarity and realized how bad of a decision that was so I quit taking Advil and started looking towards more holistic approaches.
This started my own journey towards actually putting in the time, energy, and research to better myself through all things from food to medication. I am plant-based and have been for almost 4 years now, I rarely take traditional medicine.
Through starting this journey I also discovered just how important it is to stay connected with nature and I am trying to incorporate that more into my life right now.
I currently don’t have a specific area I want to specialize in but I know that I want to really help and guide people to making the best decision for them with all the information possible and not the somewhat skewed information we get from traditional medical practices.
