Holistic Nutritionist
Program Description

Holistic Nutritionist
Diploma Program
Ready to become a Certified Holistic Nutritionist?
This globally recognized diploma develops the clinical reasoning, pattern recognition, and professional judgment that separate practitioners from wellness enthusiasts. Completely updated for 2026, you’ll work through complex case presentations, learn to think systematically across body systems, and develop the decision-making skills that only come through guided practice with experienced mentors.
You’ll master pathophysiology, nutrigenomics, root-cause analysis, and protocol design, not as isolated topics, but as integrated tools for addressing the real, messy client presentations you’ll face in practice. Graduate with RHNP credentials, insurance eligibility, and genuine clinical confidence built through practitioner-level training.
If you’re ready to move beyond information consumption to actual clinical competence, this is where it happens.

Comprehensive & Transformative
Becoming a competent and confident Holistic Nutritionist requires far more than completing online modules or prompting an AI chatbox.
A trained practitioner needs to be able to confidently sit across from a real client with overlapping conditions, contradictory labs, and a complicated medication history and know what to do. Critical thinking and complex analysis are skills that are learned and developed in this industry through proper training.
That’s the gap between information and competence. And it’s what this program bridges.
From foundational theory to real-life case studies, every component is structured to teach you how to recognize patterns across body systems, design protocols that account for real practice constraints, and make sound clinical decisions, even when evidence is incomplete or conflicting. This program is designed to develop true mastery, not just surface-level understanding.

A Life-Changing Industry
Why Holistic Nutritionists are Needed More Than Ever
- The internet is overflowing with advice, but very little of it is grounded in true understanding. Your clients need educated guidance and a break from the overwhelming information highway.
- Too many people are self-diagnosing, self-supplementing, and struggling. They desperately need someone trained to bring clarity, strategy, and support.
- The conventional medical system is in shambles. People suffering from preventable chronic illness feel dismissed, rushed, and unheard while waiting for months, if not years, for specialists or scans that don’t ever address the root cause.
- Health care has become sick care. People are in dire need of proactive, long-term root cause solutions – and that’s the foundation on which holistic health is built.
- Social media trends are not health strategies, and trained holistic practitioners are needed to bring real, personalized care back into the conversation.

Yes. Tier 2 builds on the foundational knowledge from Tier 1. Students must first complete the Holistic Nutrition & Health Coach Certification (Tier 1) or hold an equivalent background approved by our admissions department. This ensures you are fully prepared to succeed in advanced clinical training.
Upon graduation from Tier 2, you will receive the Certified Holistic Nutritionist designation, which will be reflected on your diploma. You will also be eligible for membership with the Global Association for Integrative Nutrition (GAIN), which provides you with the Registered Holistic Nutrition Practitioner (RHNP) designation and insurance coverage. You will also be eligible to sit for the BCHN® board certification exam through the NANP.
The program has a 12-month completion window requirement, but on average, most students complete Tier 2 within 6-9 months. Completion fully depends on the time you dedicate to your studies each week. The program is entirely self-paced and online, allowing you to study at your convenience, whether that is full-time, part-time, or alongside other commitments. We recommend 7-10 hours of study time per week to complete within the 12-month deadline.
Absolutely. Tier 2 equips you with advanced skills in holistic and functional nutrition so you can work with clients in a professional capacity. Many graduates launch private practices, join integrative clinics, or combine their training with existing health careers. Session fees for holistic nutrition practitioners typically start around $100–$120 per session, making this both a meaningful and sustainable career path.
You’ll have access to a private online community, ongoing support from our student success team, and the ability to connect with like-minded peers worldwide. Graduates often say this support system was key to their success and confidence in starting their careers.
