“it is your health that is the real wealth.”- Gandhi
The above quote is something that resonates deeply with me; meaning that being free from illness and pain has a richness of its own. Being sound in body is worth at least as much or even more than any material possessions someone can have. At a young age and threw out most of my life I had struggled with mental illness. Looking for a way out, I decided to start changing every aspect of my life. over the past years I have found happiness, not in money… power… or material things, but in spirituality, fitness and mainly nutrition. It was pretty loud and clear: dietary choices influence disease and health in a major way. Once I started to change my attitude it started to change my life. I went from being someone who smoked a pack a day, eating your standard industrialized north American diet, binge watching Netflix series like it was my day job while drinking a six pack. To a Buddhist, that now spends most of their time in the gym, eating mainly a plant based diet, cigarette free and traded in the six pack of beer for a six pack of abs instead. My passion is to help those find freedom like I have threw healing with nutrition and personalized balance. Change happens little by little, day by day and not over night but in the end its worth it!
